John Bayonne
Building Services Director
John Bayonne is the Building Services director for Solstice at Plano. He was born and raised in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. After serving, he returned home and began renovating mobile homes. He then moved to Kansas City, Kan., and began renovating apartment complexes. During his time in Kansas, he became the Maintenance director at a skilled nursing facility. It was during this experience when he discovered his joy in helping seniors – he felt rewarded for their sincere appreciation.
He realized that he missed the warmer climate and Southern living and packed up his wife and two children and moved to Dallas. He was hired at Emeritus Senior Living as their Maintenance director for 12 years. He believes all his experiences led him to Solstice.
